Professional career: 

Thomas has played with the BlackJacks during the 2024 and 2025 seasons. 


In the 2024 season, his first professional season, Thomas averaged 6.7 points and 2.3 rebounds. Then, in his return during the 2025 season, he averaged 7.9 points and 3.9 rebounds. 


He has played three seasons of basketball with different teams around Europe. He began his professional career during the 2023-24 season with the Leicester Riders in the British Basketball League (BBL). There, he averaged 12.8 points and 2.3 rebounds. 

 

Then, for the 2024-25 season, Thomas played with the Bozic Estriche Knights Kirchheim of the German Pro A. He played 19 games with that team, averaging 12 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists. 

 

He then played in Slovakia with the Nitra Blue Wings of the Slovak Basketball League. With the Blue Wings, he averaged 12 points and 3.9 rebounds. 

 

He then played with Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, of the Georgian Super Liga. There, he averaged 21.5 points, 11.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists. He played 32 games with the Dolphins, was the Georgian Super Liga MVP, and the Georgian Super Liga Finals MVP. 

 

He then went and played three games for Hoops Club in the Lebanese Basketball League. Across those three games with that team, he averaged 16 points, 9.7 rebounds and two assists. 


College career: 

Thomas began his university career in the 2017-18 season at The University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where he averaged 11 points and 7.8 rebounds in his rookie year. During his time at Maryland Eastern Shore, he was on the MEAC All-Rookie Team and a MEAC Rookie of the Week. 

 

He then transferred to Ball State University in the 2019-2020 season for his next three years of eligibility. In his final year at Ball State, he averaged 11.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists. 

 

For his final year of eligibility in the NCAA, he transferred to Kent State University. There, he averaged 10.5 points and 5.5 rebounds. During his time at Kent State he was an MAC Player of the Week.


Personal life: 

Thomas grew up in Cleveland, OH. 


He was the first person in his family to go to college, and he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications and video production, and then a master’s degree in promotional management and tourism. 


Thomas is also a model, and modelled for Nike in their Nike Underwear Autumn/Winter 2023 collection.


He also enjoys listening to music and prefers R&B and soul. 


Thomas goes by the nickname ‘Montana.’
