Hennessy Roppovalente serves as an assistant and analytics coordinator for the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees men’s basketball team under BlackJacks and Gee-Gees head coach James Derouin.

Assisting the coaching staff with scouting and analytics, he contributed to the team’s 19-3 conference record and bronze medal at the 2024 U SPORTS Championship. Roppovalente joined the BlackJacks during the 2023 season, working as the Performance Analytics and Scouting Advisor, as well as serving as the team’s Equipment Manager.

He was previously the basketball analytics assistant for the Gee-Gees OUA Championship-winning and national bronze medalist team in 2022-2023.

An Ottawa native, Roppovalente is currently completing his undergraduate degree in Finance and Business Analytics at the University of Ottawa.
