Ottawa BlackJacks Sign American Guard Jared Wilson-Frame

The Ottawa BlackJacks of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Wednesday that American guard Jared Wilson-Frame has signed with the Club for the 2022 CEBL season.


A six-foot-five guard from Hartford, Connecticut, Wilson-Frame has averaged 14.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 30.5 minutes in 86 professional games in the NBA G League, in Mexico and in Belgium.


This past season, Wilson-Frame played in two different leagues, including the NBA G League and the LNBP, the top-tier men’s professional basketball league in Mexico. 


As a member of the Salt Lake City Stars in the NBA G League, Wilson-Frame averaged 16.0 points and 4.4 assists in 38 games. He scored 25 or more points five times, recorded two double-doubles, and hit a season-high six triples four times. He recorded a season-high 30 points, going 11-for-23 shooting from the field and six-for-15 shooting from behind the arc, to go along with eight rebounds, five assists and one steal on March 24 against the Agua Caliente Clippers. As a member of the Astros de Jalisco in the LNBP, he averaged 13.6 points in 33 games, including 30 starts.


The University of Pittsburgh alumnus started his professional career in 2019-20 with the Limburg United of the BNXT League in Belgium, where he averaged 16.2 points in 13 games. 


Collegiately, Wilson-Frame competed with the University of Pittsburgh for two seasons, after a two-year stint with Northwest Florida State Junior College. In 2017-18, during his first year with Pittsburgh, Wilson-Frame averaged 13.0 points in 32 games, including 23 starts. He finished the season ranked first on the team in points per game, free throw percentage (.829) and three-point field goals (74). He produced 23 double-digit scoring efforts, including four games with 20 or more points scored. As a sophomore with Northwest Florida State, Wilson-Frame averaged a team-high 14.7 points and was named Panhandle Player of the Year by the media.
