OTTAWA BLACKJACKS ANNOUNCE INAUGURAL TRAINING CAMP ROSTER

May 14, 2020
The Ottawa BlackJacks of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Thursday its official training camp roster for the inaugural 2020 season.

There are currently 12 players signed to the BlackJacks roster, including nine standard player contracts and three development player contracts as a result of the 2020 CEBL / U SPORTS Draft.

Four of the players, who are signed by Ottawa under contract, cannot be named publicly until the status of their current FIBA season is determined and their international FIBA clearances are obtained.

Eleven of the BlackJacks players signed are Canadian with a significant portion of the roster having ties to both the City of Ottawa and Carleton University.

The start of the inaugural 2020 season has been delayed, and while the CEBL adheres to the guidance of Canada’s top health and government leaders, the league is exploring options to creatively deliver world-class professional basketball. The BlackJacks continue to be an actively engaged community and corporate partner, lending its support wherever possible.
