Ottawa BlackJacks Announce 2024 CEBL Regular Season Schedule

Jan 23, 2024

The Ottawa BlackJacks of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced its 2024 regular season schedule Tuesday, consisting of 20 games beginning May 26. This year marks the fifth anniversary of the Ottawa BlackJacks, who entered the league in 2020.

Ottawa will play 10 regular season home games at The Arena at TD Place in historic Lansdowne Park. Notably, the schedule features a season-high seven games on Saturday, with three hosted at home.

In 2023, the CEBL launched the conference model of competition, and this year, it will continue along the same path. The league's 10 teams are divided into an Eastern Conference (Brampton, Montréal, Niagara, Ottawa, and Scarborough) and a Western Conference (Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatchewan, Vancouver, and Winnipeg). Ottawa will play each of the Western teams at least once except Edmonton who they draw twice - once at home and once away.

The Ottawa BlackJacks will tip off their fifth season on the road on May 26 against Brampton, just days before the home opener at The Arena at TD Place on May 29, against the two-time CEBL Champions, the Edmonton Stingers. Ottawa’s second road trip of the season will take them to Winnipeg on Saturday, June 1, marking the team’s inaugural visit to the Canada Life Centre.

The BlackJacks will then play back-to-back games against its closest geographical opponents, Montreal, with one game away (June 5) and the other one at home (June 11).

Returning from a two-game trip out west, Ottawa will make history by hosting Calgary for the first time on Saturday, June 29, as part of a series of three consecutive home games that includes matchups against Scarborough (June 27) and Montreal (July 4).

After a week on the road, the BlackJacks will return to the Capital to play another set of three consecutive games against Scarborough (July 18), Niagara (July 20) and Saskatchewan (July 25).

The regular season will conclude with a home game on Thursday, July 29, against Brampton.

The BlackJacks strive to deliver world-class professional basketball, while offering fans thrilling and diverse entertainment. A lineup of performers and themed games for the 2024 season will be announced in the near future.

Fans can now purchase 3-Game Flex Packs, enabling them to secure tickets for the home opener and two other games of their choice. Fans can enjoy exclusive benefits, including priority seating access and preferred pricing. For detailed ticket information, visit

The CEBL season culminates at the 2024 Championship Weekend (CW24) in Montréal from August 9-11. Host Montréal, along with the top-ranked team from the Western Conference, will automatically be seeded into the Conference Finals at Championship Weekend. The full playoff schedule, including the Play-In and Conference Semifinal games, will be announced at a later date. The 2024 broadcast schedule with all nationally televised games on TSN will be announced at a later date.
