Hey Ottawa and Gatineau!

I am O.G. the Black-tailed Jackrabbit.

I was born in our Nation’s Capital, 28 years ago. I grew up playing basketball and worked really hard trying to be the best in my drove. As my skills were pretty limited, I spent a lot of time developing my endurance, speed, strength, and of course my hops, which make me incredibly athletic (and I am proud of it).

Being adventurous, I decided to travel around the country for a couple of years, but when I heard the CEBL was launching a new franchise in Ottawa, I decided to come back home. I’ve always wanted to play on a professional basketball team. I am very competitive, and I heard the BlackJacks will be too. I thought it was the perfect fit …

Until Coach told me I might not make the cut. I am not gonna lie, I was pretty sad. When you’re a confident Jackrabbit like me, losing isn’t an option.

However, they decided to sign me to a different type of contract. You see, I always find a way.

I still hope I can play for the team one day. That’s why I make sure to stay in shape and impress the fans with all my cool tricks during the games, while being a team ambassador in the Ottawa / Gatineau community.
