The Ottawa Blackjacks Dance Team Season is about to begin and we are looking for athletes to join our team.
Audition Training begins with a Program Information Meeting on Monday March 23rd conducted via zoom at 7pm.
It will be followed by program interviews and an in person audition. We are looking to select 10 dancers to perform at Ottawa Blackjacks games of the CEBL, provide high quality athletic entertainment, act as ambassadors for the club and participate in a wide range of community and philanthropic events across the city.

AUDITION ATTIRE
- Black sports bra
- Black Leggings
- Hair and make up should be done Game Day ready. (Hair down, performance make up) Please wear colours that compliment you! Don’t forget our signature red lips in your favourite shade!
- Please bring water
- Parking available on site
- Must bring ID.
TEAM REQUIREMENTS
- We are looking for experienced dancers aged 18 and up by May 1st
- Candidates must be a high school graduate
- Candidates must be a resident of the national capital region.
- Candidates should have dance experience

Will there be any form of compensation?
Yes, members of the BlackJacks Dancers are compensated for home games, however, this is not a full-time position.
