2023-24: Spent the entire season with Dziki Warszawa (P-OBL) and led the team in assists per-game (3.6) and steals per-game (1.4) … Ranked fourth in minutes (26.4) and in a tie for fourth in points (12.1) per-game … Scored a game high 20 points, and added a season-high four assists, in Dziki’s 68-58 win at Rawlplug Sokol Lancut … Concluded the season with multi-point efforts in 13 of his final 14 games


2022-23:  Played seven NBA Summer League games with the Sacramento Kings and averaged 5.9 points and 2.7 assists per-game … Began the overseas portion of his season with Besiktas Icrypex in the Turkish BSL and started five of the six regular season games in which he appeared … Averaged 10.0 points and 2.7 assists per-game before joining Torku Konyaspor in the same league … Had his most effective game with Torku on 12/17/22 when he scored 17 points and provided eight rebounds at Bahcesehir Koleji (90-77 loss) … Joined Peristeri BC and made his debut on 2/11/23 at AS Karditsas (86-80 loss) … Played in 17 games with the club and averaged 3.4 points and 1.4 rebounds per-game … Made his CEBL debut with Ottawa on 7/2/23 vs. Winnipeg (99-86 win) eventually playing in nine games … Ranked fourth on the BlackJacks in assists (37) and steals (15)

2020-21: Led the Texas Longhorn (Big 12) in assists (109), steals (32) and games played (27) while ranking second in scoring (356) … Established a new personal NCAA single-game high in points when he scored 30  on 3/13/21 in Texas’ Big 12 Tournament final victory vs. Oklahoma State (91-86 win) … Named the Big 12 Tournament Most Outstanding Player … Played his final game for Texas on 3/20/21 with a first round NCAA Tournament loss to Albilene Christian (53-52) and scored nine points to give him 1,448 career NCAA points - the 17th most in program history … His 802 career points in Big 12 contests established a new Texas program record while his 477 career assists placed him fourth all-time


2019-20: Started 30 of Texas’ 31 games on the year, missing only a contest on 2/19/20 vs. TCU (70-56 win) due to injury … All-Big 12 Third Team selection … Led the team in scoring (12.7), assists (3.4) and minutes (33.6) per-game … Reached double figures in a single game a team high 22 times, including four 20-plus point performances … Tied the Texas single-game record for most three-point field goals made without a miss (minimum six attempts) and became the fourth player in team history to hit six-of-six threes in a game on 11/21/19 vs. Georgetown (82-66 loss) … Recorded a made field goal at the 18:11 mark of the second half vs. Texas Tech (62-57 loss) to become the 38th player in Texas history to reach the 1,000-point mark


2018-19: Recognized as an Honourable Mention All-Big 12 selection and was named to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team … Led Texas in assists (3.4), minutes (30.7) and free throw percentage (.785) while sitting fourth in points per-game (9.8) … Posted a 127-to-63 assist-to-turnover ratio (2.02) … Recorded a season-high 22 points on 12/9/18 vs. Purdue (72-68 win) … Set a season-high with 10 assists against just one turnover in 25 minutes vs. Iowa State (86-69 win)


2017-18: Started all 34 games in his freshman season at Texas … Was an Honourable Mention All-Big 12 selection … Led the team in assists (4.1), ranked second in minutes (34.0) and fourth in scoring (10.2) … Reached double figures in scoring in a game 16 times and eclipsed the 20-point mark on four occasions … Recorded 11 points and seven assists in his NCAA debut on 11/10/17 vs. Northwestern State (105-59 win) putting him in a tie for the third-highest number of assists in a freshman debut in program history … Had a season-high 25 points, with four assists, in Texas’ 87-83 overtime loss vs. Nevada in the first round of the 2018 NCAA Tournament on 3/16/18

The Ottawa BlackJacks of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Tuesday its official training camp roster in preparation for the 2024 CEBL season. Led by General Manager and Head Coach James Derouin, and Vice-President of Basketball Operations, Jevohn Shepherd, Ottawa’s current training camp roster consists of 16 players. Earlier today, the BlackJacks also announced the signing of six-foot-six forward Alonzo Walker, who just completed his fourth professional season in Slovakia. Walker has experience in the CEBL, having competed with the Niagara River Lions in 2022 and 2023. Highlights of the 2024 Ottawa BlackJacks roster include: Five players with NBA G League or NBA Summer League experience (Abu Kigab, Brandon Sampson, Ibi Watson, Peter Jok, and Tyrrel Tate). Six players who have suited up for the BlackJacks in the past (Abu Kigab, Dragan Stajic, James Jean-Marie, Lloyd Pandi, Tyrrel Tate, and Yasiin Joseph). Seven players with ties to the nation’s capital (Dragan Stajic, JD Muila, Justin Ndjock-Tadjoré, Kevin Otoo, Lloyd Pandi, Michael Kelvin II, and Yasiin Joseph). Two American players (Brandon Sampson, Ibi Watson). One Sudanese player (Peter Jok). Three players who have signed their first professional contract (Justin Ndjock-Tadjoré, Michael Kelvin II, Kevin Otoo). 10 players with CEBL experience. 11 NCAA Division I alumni. The Ottawa BlackJacks of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Tuesday the signing of South Sudanese-American Forward Peter Jok for the upcoming 2024 CEBL season. A six-foot-six forward from South Sudan, Jok averaged 8.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 21.1 minutes across 166 professional games played in the NBA G League, in Spain and in France. Jok played six games for the Orlando Magic (2019) and the New Orleans Pelicans (2017) in the NBA Summer League. Notably, he recorded 22 points, one rebound, two assists and one steal on July 14, 2018, against the Nuggets. Currently concluding his NBA G League season with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, Jok spent the previous four years playing in Europe. Jok began his professional career in the NBA G League during the 2017-18 season with the Northern Arizona Suns and continued with them into the following season, averaging a career-high of 14.3 points in 43 games. He made five or more three-pointers in a game on six occasions, with a season-best of six triples on December 30 against the Warriors. Collegiately, Jok had an illustrious career with the University of Iowa Hawkeye, and averaged 12.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 22.4 minutes across 125 games from 2013-2017. He finished his career ranked 15th in Iowa career scoring (1,508) and fourth in three-pointers made (216), making four or more three-pointers 17 times. He was also named Iowa's all-time best free throw shooter, boasting an .881 percentage (310-352). Jok had his best statistical season as a senior, averaging 19.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.1 steals, and 30.7 minutes in 32 games. He garnered several accolades, including First Team All-Big Ten as voted on by league media and coaches, Senior Class Second Team All-American, as well as Iowa’s Male Athlete of the Year honors.
