YOLANDA YIP

Yolanda Yip is a Head Coach for the Ottawa BlackJacks Capital Crew and Ravens Rhythm, Carleton University’s Official Pom and Game Day Team. Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Yip has trained and performed at multiple institutions in numerous dance styles. She formally obtained her BATD Teacher’s Certificate in Modern Dance in 2016, and holds ICU Performance Cheer Coaching Skill Credentials in Pom and Jazz/High Kick while also in the process of obtaining her certifications for Hip Hop and Cheerleading. She is dedicated to creating inclusive communities and supportive learning environments in dance and education. Recent pieces of Yip’s choreography was seen at the 2024 Capital Hoops Classic.
