With a lifelong passion for both sports and business, Jesse Zimmer was named Director of Business Development for the Ottawa BlackJacks in November 2023.

Growing up in Medicine Hat, AB, Jesse was active with many sports including basketball. His love of the game led him to become a basketball referee while studying Marketing at the University of Lethbridge. After several years of working in marketing and sales, Jesse made the move to San Diego California to pursue his Sports MBA at San Diego State University.

As a dedicated sports professional, Jesse is determined to grow the Ottawa BlackJacks organization and help bring a positive impact to the community through basketball. During his free time, Jesse enjoys watching sports games with his wife and planning out their next travel adventures together.
